Hello, everyone!!
I’m Techipooh Honda.
For those starting RUST
Today, I want to talk about the game called “RUST (Steam ver.)”
While RUST is also available on PS4, that’s out of my expertise,
so I won’t be touching on that.
RUST often goes on sale a few times a year,
making it much cheaper,
which can lead to a temporary increase in the number of players.
If you’re curious or want to try it out, waiting for a sale might be a good strategy! Price ¥4,500 (As of 2024/09/19).
The information I’m about to share,as well as the content
on this site, is filled with personal opinions, so please don’t take it too seriously.
I don’t lie, but I might exaggerate a bit.
What kind of game is RUST?
First off, what kind of game is RUST?
That’s a common question I get when streaming.Viewers often ask,
“What kind of game is it?”and “What do you do in this game?”
My answer is: It’s a game that’s like a mix of “Minecraft” and “Fortnite“, and it’s a game where you “steal all the wealth from others“.
For those starting RUST
For those of you thinking about starting RUST‼
There’s one thing you absolutely need to remember.
Don’t trust others too much.
Don’t ever forget this.
RUST has a system where you can form teams to play,
so for those familiar with this system, it might seem odd to say this.
However, by trusting others,
there’s a hidden risk of losing everything you own.
When I say everything you own, I’m not just talking about
cash and items—I’m talking about all your possessions in the game.
- The time you’ve spent on RUST
- Your energy
- Your trust
- All the items you’ve collected on that RUST server
If you’re playing RUST with two or more people, unless you’re really close,
don’t forget to stay suspicious.
But always staying suspicious can be exhausting, right?
Once you’ve built a reasonable level of trust,
it might be okay to trust others to some extent.
(But do so at your own risk!!)
That way, you might be able to fully enjoy your RUST life — maybe.
If you’re curious about what betrayal is like…
search “RUST betrayal” on YouTube, and you’ll probably find some videos!
(I, too, have been betrayed once during a participation event I was hosting. Though it was expected, it still annoyed me. However, because I knew it was a possibility, it wasn’t a huge blow.)
It’s just a game, after all
Having fun is what games are all about!!
There are even people who don’t care about betrayal.
But I believe that in order to “take everything from others,”
it requires not just aim or gaming sense,
but also a lot of time investment, so I’m always cautious.
This is about all the information you need before clicking the RUST icon.
For what to do after that, I’ve summarized it in another page.
Well then, enjoy your RUST life!!
